Everything Breakfast - Chocolate Hemp & Hazelnut - bircher

Everything Breakfast – Bircher in 10 mins

Bircher pots are a super convenient option that you can make ahead of time and will last in your fridge for a few days.

Combine 1 part everything breakfast + 1 part water + 1 part nut or seed milk of choice (we use homemade almond milk). Soak for 10 mins to activate the chia seeds. If you’re super prepared and want a full bircher breakfast experience, you can leave to soak overnight. Use a little less milk and water if you want a dryer bircher.

Note: 1 portion of  everything breakfast is 75g of everything breakfast (approximately ½ cup)

While the Everything Breakfast has been designed to be deliciously and nutritiously complete on its own, we do love a topping so here our some of the ways we've been enjoying the Everything Breakfast this winter.

Toppings:

Almond Hemp &Turmeric toppings

  • Top with a drizzle of almond butter + freshly chopped pears tossed in a little finely grated ginger. Serve with a little organic maple for a bit of decadence.
  • Make a bircher pot to go - place bircher in a jar + 2 tablespoons of coconut yogurt + fresh or frozen mango + a drizzle of passionfruit.

Chocolate Hazelnut & Hemp toppings

  • Top your bircher with warmed organic mixed berries + poached pear (see recipe below) + a drizzle of Raglan Coconut Kefir. Serve with a little organic maple for a touch of sweetness.
  • Make a bircher pot to go - place a handful of frozen berries in the bottom of a jar + 2 tablespoons of Raglan Coconut Yoghurt + bircher. For some extra crunch add a tablespoon of activated hazelnuts.

Everything Breakfast - Almond Hemp & Turmeric - muesli

Everything Breakfast - Muesli in 2 mins

You can create a super quick delicious muesli experience with one portion of Everything Breakfast and plant milk to your liking. Here are a couple of ways we enjoy out muesli with toppings.

      Toppings:

      Almond Hemp &Turmeric toppings

Place 1 portion of everything breakfast, half a cup of water or plant milk with 2-3 tablespoons of coconut yoghurt in a bowl and mix together, sprinkle with organic frozen raspberries and drizzle with a little raw honey or organic maple if you like these sweet.

      Chocolate Hazelnut & Hemp toppings

Place one portion of everything breakfast in a bowl with ¼ cup of water and ½ cup of plant or nut milk, top with viberi organic frozen blackcurrants and raglan coconut yoghurt. If your feeling like a treat sprinkle with some grated chocolate – we used chai guy choc 65%.

      Poached Pears

      1 cup water

70g sweetner (coconut sugar, nectar, maple or raw honey)

      1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

4 pears – peeled, cored and cut in half

Any sweet aromatic spices – cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, star anise, cardamom, chilli if you like!

Combine everything in a pot and bring the mixture to a boil.

Add the pear halves and reduce the heat so that the poaching liquid is just simmering. Poach the pears for 10 to 15 minutes. The pears should be tender but not mushy when they are done.

Strain the pears into a large container, then let the poaching liquid cool completely. Transfer the liquid to the container with the pears, cover, and let the pears soak to absorb more flavour.
