Autumn is nature’s way of giving us space to settle in and find peace in doing less, with the trees shedding their leaves being a beautiful reminder of how lovely it is to let things go.
We are big believers in finding fun ways to feel good in your body, through restorative movement and mindful eating. As the evenings become longer and colder, we can often feel less energised or motivated to take care of ourselves, and so Sarah Lindsay of SALA Studio and Megan May of Little Bird Kitchen have designed this nourishing and restorative Autumn Yoga and Supper Workshop to celebrate balance and invite renewal as we move into the Autumn months.
A mindful Dynamic Yoga sequence will release tension and leave you with a more
spacious body, while an Autumn Harvest dinner will leave you feeling warm, nourished and re-energised.
First off, Sarah will take you through a 60-minute Dynamic practice, exploring the potency of the body-mind matrix in this yin-yang hybrid flow – opening the hips, groin and legs which commonly hold a lot of physical and psychological tension, before settling into some longer holds to help us leave with a more spacious body and mental state. The perfect energetic detox to help you settle into the cooler months.
Following the class, take a stroll 5-minutes down Ponsonby Road to Little
Bird Kitchen where you will enjoy an Autumn Harvest Banquet carefully curated by Megan with earthy vegetables, hearty herbs such as rosemary, sage and thyme and warming spices such as ginger, cinnamon and cardamom. Leaving you with warm bellies and nourished souls.
