Australia’s Grown & Gathered present an afternoon workshop at Kelmarna Gardens, Grey Lynn.
Matt & Lentil are here to help get this amazing community garden and wonderful resource of our city to flourish, come and be a part of it.
Join Matt & Lentil at Kelmarna Gardens on Sunday the 14th of June to watch a demonstration on how to set up a garden from scratch, get inspired to create your own garden at home, get tips on how to improve your current garden or just come and get more connected to where your food comes from. Additionally come and learn about all the exciting changes the community garden is about to undergo with them.
Little Birds’ Megan & Maria will be making fresh juices and smoothies with produce from the garden as well has herbal teas and of course we will bring you down some little bird treats and snacks from the cafes to nourish you after working in the garden.
SUNDAY 14TH JUNE - 2 WORKSHOPS!
1) 1pm-3pm
2) 3:15pm-5:15pm
Both will include Little Bird afternoon tea. The workshops will be based on garden planning and turning over baby Pepper’s (Little Bird’s newest member) Plot!

'Payment' for the workshops will be via a donation to Kelmarna Gardens, which can be made when you arrive. (We suggest something around $40)
Spaces are limited to 25 per session.
Good food goes beyond simply what you eat - learn about why, the importance of eating in a traditional and wholesome way, the impact that has on our health and the health of the environment.
This will be a hands on workshop where you will be turning over an existing plot and setting it up a as winter garden.
Everyone will receive a handout on backyard farming the Grown and Gathered way.
We would also encourage all participants to bring along something to trade for a posie of foraged flowers or a loaf of bread.
