There is not much to our coconut sugar, and that's just how we like it. It's just evaporated nectar from the flower of organically grown coconut palm trees. That's all. This means that all of the goodness inherent to the coconut flower is preserved.
Coconut sugar has been used as a traditional sweetener for thousands of years in the South and South East Asian regions. Coconut sugar is subtly sweet. almost like brown sugar, but with a slight hint of caramel.
Our Coconut Sugar makes the perfect alternative to refined sugars, and has a sweet malty moreishness. It makes a great addition to baking, in your teas and coffee, or porridge!
